Two Scrapbooking Pages With Laura
Hi friends,
Laura here to share a couple of scrapbook layouts using the ‘When Life Gives You Lemons’ kit here.

.
I was immediately drawn to the pink watercolour paper with the gorgeous lemon vine design. I trimmed one of the sheets down leaving me with a corner section of pink edged with the vine. Working on to the back of a previous layout from my scrap therapy book I added it to the top right corner and mirrored this with a smaller pink watercolour section on the bottom left corner.
.
This left me with plenty of space to add any journalling. I tucked the ‘This Is Life’ card behind the smaller pink watercolour piece and created a small cluster using a sticker, a fussy cut flower and one of the pieces from the embellishment postcard.
.
.
All the page needed then was a little more interest at the top so I added the pink paperclip and tucked a snippet of yellow ribbon underneath it. I flicked some yellow ink around and journalled what was on my mind. This page was quick, easy and very therapeutic.

With the second sheet of pink watercolour paper I fussy cut the vine and flowers out.

I wanted this to be the main feature on my layout. I cut the lemon border cut file on white cardstock using my Silhouette Cameo.
I had planned to use it as one piece but ended up trimming it into three different sections and dotting the around the page.

.
I added some green watercolour to a sheet of white 12×12 card and started to build the design up. A few layers, a bit of mixed media, fishtail banner ends, all topped off with the fussy cut vine popped up on dimensional adhesive.

.
I felt the page need a few little sprinkles around so I colour matched some enamel dots from my stash and added them in a visual triangle.
