I’m obsessed making ticket ephemera!
I love using them in decorating my journal pages, pockets , envelops and journal cards.
There are lots of themes that you can make .
Almost all of the tickets I have seen created on Youtube are vintage themed.
I wanted to create a colourful and a more modern one.
I have used the recent In The Library kit to create my ticket ephemera.
Creating the ticket base
I used the papers in the kit and cut strips measuring 2.5 inches wide.
The strips were scored to create sections of 3 inches .
I managed to have 2 full sizes and at the end was a shorter one.
You will see that I will decorate it differently later.
I then used my 1/4 inch circle punch to cut the corners and create the hole in between the tickets.
We are now ready to decorate the tickets.
Decorating the tickets
I collaged on the tickets .
For the first layer , I used torn pieces of tissue paper.
I used a script stamp to create the next background layer.
I tore the dictionary book pages into small pieces and used this as my next layer.
To decorate , I used the stickers , cut part card and cut apart washi strips.
I didn’t want to waste the end of the strips and decorated them in a different orientation.
I love how they have turned out and I cannot wait to use them in my journal.
You can even create different themed tickets to suit your journal layout.
I hope this has inspired you and I would love to see what you have created in the Facebook group.
Happy crafting !
Lots of crafty hugs,
Sheryll
