Hi it’s Sarah here today with three small projects that can be made when you’re short on time.
I made these over the school half term when I have very little time for crafty projects.
I adore the flower ephemera in this months box and wanted to make a feature of one of them on a clean and simple card. I already had some gelliprints I had created to match the My Small World kit so I used some small scraps to make the scalloped background and sweet little vase to hold the flower. A tiny word sticker greeting was all that was need to finish the card, I also popped all elements up on foam for a little dimension.
My second quick make was the tag. I wanted to use up some of the smaller pieces of gelliprints from my stash and created a collage background. I used a sweet cloud stencil from a previous box to create some dimensional clouds using texture paste.
Using the sweet town scene paper I created a pocket at the bottom of the tag to hold one of the scalloped squares also in the kit. To add a tab I used a hot air balloon ephemera piece and added a couple more towards the top of the tag. The fabric in the kit was a perfect finishing touch tied through the finished tag.
My third project was a pocket using a small brown envelope. Again I added collage pieces to create a background and stapled some more of the fabric to create a belly band. Using paper from the kit I created a small tag and added stickers and cute parts for decoration. On the reverse I added gelliprint paper left blank ready for journalling and decoration.
The tag fits nicely in the belly band and there is further room for photos inside the envelope pocket at the back. I really enjoyed making those quick small projects which will make for easy journal pages at a later date.
Adorable makes! Very sweet!
