I’m on the search for the perfect cake or should I say cakes for my birthday!!!

What’s your favourite?? I have a few favourites, one of which is strawberry sponge cake with cream. I have been scrolling through Pinterest so much that my news feed is just cake now haha.

Beautiful tiered cakes, macarons, cupcakes, cake stands, there are just so many choices. The diecuts in the la patisserie kit are very similar to the style I have been looking at and are perfect to help create a shortlist on the notepad.

The menu is cake of course, my daughter keeps asking me what type of food I will be have and the answer is always the same, cake of course!! Maybe with a few sandwiches?

I need somewhere to keep all my notes, and where better than in the paper bag from the packaging. I have wrapped it in the recipe paper and love how the pink is peeping through the design. I decorated the front with the Mrs Brimbles sticker sheet, the sweet diecut and the yellow bakers twine.

The notes can then just be clipped together and popped into the paper bag .

I love how it looks, I can punch a few holes in the side and add it into my planner, ready for my list to be ticked off before the big day.
