Spring Mini Book Page – by Sarah
Spring Mini Book Page – by Sarah

The sun is shining and I am back with another couple of pages for my Spring Mini Album.
I spent some time making more gelliprints at the weekend to match my Hopes and Dreams kit. I used them as photo matts and a page flip today. The peach tone of the prints really helped my photos stand out.

My journalling today is all about a day out last month when we went to Kedleston Country Park. I added a page flip, making it extra sturdy using the washi strip paper. I layered one of the note pad pages back to back with another piece of the gelli print and added two hearts to create a tab. I’m not a fan of my handwriting but have decided to embrace it and not hide it on every page I make.

On the second page I added more gelli print behind the photo and added a layer of acrylic paint over the gelliprint in white. I added some tiny word stickers from my stash and ephemera from the kit around all my photos.

Finally I added some cute bunting washi which matched beautifully and my usual splashes of paint. A couple of cute enamel sticker later and my pages were done!

Thank you for joining me again!
Have a happy crafty day.
