Scarecrow Trail Journal Page – by Sarah
Scarecrow Trail Journal Page – by Sarah

Hi Sarah here today with a journal page using the new Gather Together kit.
Autumn is my favourite season by far and I love all things spooky and pumpkin related when it comes to crafty goodies.
For this page I started with my photos from a scarecrow trail we went to at the beginning of Autumn. I took so many pictures so used flips and pockets to hold them all.

I love this months postcard and it was perfect to add as a flip out page. I attached some cute pompom trim down the edge and pictures to the reverse layered onto some of this months patterned paper.
I popped the title of my page to the centre and a tuck spot at the bottom with some more of the paper.
I love some mixed media so used thick gesso through a stencil for the leaves layered with distress oxides.

Tucked in the centre page I added a pumpkin simply because I can’t resist a pumpkin drawing at this time of year. I drew the shape on the back of the orange paper in the kit then cut it out. As I wanted to add some colour and shading I coated the paper in clear gesso.
I added a combination of watercolour pencils, Pitt pens and Posca pens to create my pumpkin then coated the back with black ink.
In the envelope on the left page I added more photos and on the flip I added a top loading pocket for a bookmark style insert with more photos in the reverse. I love all the cute stickers we received this month so went to town decorating with those too!

Finally I added my journalling on the reverse of the envelope pictures and the reverse of the pumpkin. A few splashes of orange watercolour and my page was done. I hope you like my Autumnal pages, I’d love to see yours too.
Have a Happy Crafty Day
Sarah x
