Say Cheese – with Guest Designer Jackie
.
Hi Jackie here, and I so glad that I’m the guest designer with the February box ‘Say Cheese’.
.
As soon as I heard that this kit was called ‘Say Cheese” my first thought was Disney so for my first layout I used a photo of my first trip to Disneyland Paris, and the first time we saw the mickey head flower arrangement before we entered the park.
.
To start my layout I added some stencil details to my cardstock.
.
Then using two of the patterned paper, as my base for my photographs, I used the camera paper at the bottom and the smile paper at the top. Then I added a layer of the pink paper behind my photograph.

.
When I add patterned papers to my cardstock, I only add adhesive to the centre on papers so that I can tuck bits and pieces around the edges. And this kit is full of lovely labels and tabs to do just that.
.
There is even a patterned paper with journaling spots that was crying out for cutting and used on my pages as additional cluster points.
.
.
One of the small embellishment vellum envelopes had some mini clips in – which I removed added some sequins and made it into a shaker envelope and added to the side of my photographs.
.
.
Then using the lovely mini phase stickers I added various ones around my page.
Then I wanted to add some journaling, and the ‘Daily To Do List’ pad was ideal to cut apart and use on my page.
As it was the morning, I cut the am: section into a tag – added some journaling and tucked it at the top of my layout.
.
.
Then I used the note part at the bottom of my layout and added some more journaling.
For my title I used the lovely ‘Smile’ perspective from Bramble Fox, which was just perfect for this layout.
.
.
I will be back shortly with another layout using this fab kit.
