Today I am sharing with you the process of my latest page in my art journal.

If you think you recognise this, then you are right.  It ended up becoming the postcard for the October Kits.

In the video, you will see me starting off with prepping the page. I use a leaf stencil which can be bought here. I’m a huge fan of the Crafters Workshop Stencils. They are such great quality.

I draw a very rough pumpkin in to the textured page and paint with water colours.

I then paint around the pumpkin. The leaf texture now stands out so well. I love how this looks.

Then once dry, I add the wording from the October Kit and outline everything with my black pen.

I’m really pleased with this page. It’s now my favourite in my art journal.
