Hi everyone,
I hope you’re all doing well.
Today I am showing you how I used the “Snail Mail” kit.
I must admit, as soon as I received it, I got started. I could not wait to make this cute tiny album.
For this project I didn’t go with the theme of snail mail, I looked at the colours and the cute snails and just knew I wanted to make an album.
In the end I used it to document the day I surprised my daughter and took her to the seaside last summer.
I used black and white photos so the colours would stand out and pop.
I used grey board to create the cover. My pages started off being plain white.
I used a matting layer of a pastel coloured card for each photo. It matches the papers in the kit so nicely.
The album is decorated throughout with the adorable stickers and die cuts from the kit.
My favourite part on this album has got to be the tassel. I created the “ball” from 1 inch circles that I cut from the papers, each folded in half and then glued together to form a ball. I finished it off with 3 beads that match the colour scheme perfectly.
I hope you got some inspiration from this.
Nadine xx
This is so adorable!
