I always recommend lists to anyone who feel they have so much going on and don’t know which way to turn or what to do next. Just that initial getting it down on paper feels like a form of therapy in itself. As soon as I have my list, I feel like I’ve cleared my head. I achieve so much more and I love that feeling of being able to tick something of the list. Instant gratification! If I’m totally honest I have been known to include items of lists that have already been completed, just so I can start the list with something ticked off.  If it makes me start my day feeling more positive, who cares!!

Today I am sharing my lists with you.

I shared this photo on fb and instagram a few days ago.

We were in Anthropologie and I spotted this ‘Lollipop’ planner. I had to have it with a name like that!. My Mum treated me. I knew instantly that it was going to be my social planner. With running 2 business’s and being very busy in the scrapbooking field it fits my needs perfectly.

Here is my desk this morning.

Nothing makes me happier than to start the day with pretty lists, pens and a latte. (I even have space at the end of the sheet to write on our daily meals.

I also have my daily ‘to-do’ list from Cocoa Daisy Planners. I love these daily planner pages. I really do use them daily. I do also keep a large A4 notepad open on my desk and have a weekly planner written out on that. As I need to do things I write them down. I like seeing what’s coming up that I need to do. The only problem with this is that you can never tick everything off as the list is continuous and on going. Whereas my smaller daily ‘to-do’ lists are shorter and only for that day, so I can usually achieve everything which makes me feel good. I like feeling organised and I like that feeling at the end of the day when I can look at my list with all the ticks and feel like I’ve had a productive day.

And finally pretty pens. When writing lists, it makes it so much more fun when you have pretty coloured pens. And if you have panda pens then that’s better even still!!

So there you have it.

My obsession with lists, pens and pretending to myself that I’m highly organised.

Enjoy your day.
