Halloween Party Journal Page – by Sarah

Hi Sarah here with a final autumnal page before the festive season begins.  I used the Gather Together kit and the Patreon download from this month which has the cutest ghosts and pumpkins included.

First I printed the download elements on both vellum and textured card stock. I fussy cut out the pieces I wanted, these were printed A4 and A5 in size.

I then took my photos and trimmed them down to size. The two larger pictures were fussy cut to create a scene in the bottom corner and a tuck spot in the opposite top corner. I layered the cut aparts around the journal spots also included.

In the background I layered some of the papers from the kit and added some fabric down the page edge on both sides for some texture and contrast. I piled pumpkins and some leaves tucked behind the bottom picture and ghosts overlapping the journalling using the vellum pieces I printed.

Finally I added the other smaller pictures layered on the orange paper from the kit tucked behind the top photo.
For a change I refrained from adding mixed media! I felt the texture and vellum pieces set of the page nicely so left it without.
