Giorgia’s 365 Summer Project
Hello, Giorgia here today hoping to inspire you!
Are you ready for a new chapter in my “365 days of love” book project? If you missed the first posts about it you can find them here and here.
I continued decorating other pages with the July Lollipop kit “Under the Sea”.
I am lucky enough to live by the sea, so I used the kit to scrap Baby Bella summer pictures, but not only them: I used pictures of her first time at the pool and taking bath at home! She really loves water, so I have many pictures to fit this kit theme.
For this page with picture of Baby Bella first time at the pool I used the amazing paper with a big circle: I cut it and used it to make the background of the page. I used the lovely felt shell to embellish the picture – the felt embellishments from the kits, either in form of paper clips or loose embellishments are always one of my favorite items in Lollipop kits! I added die-cuts too. I also cut one of the journal tags from the tag sheet to write down journal and date.
For this page I used the waves stencil to create the background with white gesso and Gelatos: I let dry the gesso than added pink and blue Gelatos smooshed with fingers! To place the picture I recycled the new paper bag that contains the die-cuts: I love the fact that Lisa is trying to get rid of the plastic in the kits and this new paper bag is just the cutest, since there are some of the die-cuts printed on it you can reuse it in many ways! I cut away the upper part of the bag and I placed the picture inside it. I used the tiny tassel paper clip in the mistery gift to keep the picture in place.
Here you can see the picture of Baby Bella at the beach: I layered it in a piece of patterned paper and I embellished with die cuts, stickers and I added the lovely starfish in the kit. How cute is that?!
For this last page I used a picture of Baby Bella taking a bath at home (I censored the picture since I don’t want to share her nude pictures on Internet, but you can still see the water theme.)
I cut the bubbles from the bubbles patterned paper (my fave in the kit!) and I scattered them on the page to create the background. I added die-cuts and stickers to embellish.
Let me say that I am in love with this month stickers and die-cuts by Mrs. Brimbles, they are just the cutest!
I added the sticker “mermaid hair, don’t care” since in the picture Bella has wet and messy hair LOL.
I hope you liked my project and I hope to have inspired you creating with your Lollipop kits.
If you will follow my future post you will see other pages from the “365 days of love” book!
Have a good day,
Ciao
Giorgia
