Hi, Jennifer here, and I’ve been using the rainy days this week to play with my July kit!
I made this pair of cards, one for a ‘New Home’ card and one for a Birthday card:
I started by pulling together some of the bits for each card, as well as two A6 white card blanks:
I trimmed some of the papers down, inked the edges of the papers, and then adhered them to my card blanks:
I used the cute little house and cupcake stamps to stamp onto some of the paper scraps:
And I used the daisies stencil with a mini ink application tool to add some blue flowers to the top left of the birthday card:
On the ‘New Home’ card I stuck a line of ribbon, a couple of stamped houses, and a ‘Home Sweet Home’ phrase from the treats bag. On the Birthday card I stamped a greeting and added the ‘Cupcakes’ phrase from the treats bag. The phrases are stuck on with foam dots to give them a bit of dimension:
I also used foam dots to add a die-cut house to the home card, and a cupcake cut from the printables postcard to the birthday card. I surrounded the card cupcake with some of the stamped cupcakes and some of the cupcake stickers from the kit:
I decided the cards needed a bit of bling, so I added some star gems from my stash to the home card, and used glossy accents on the stencilled flower petals to add some pink glitter:
I think the little bit of sparkle finishes them off nicely:
