Collect Memories by Emma Kate

Hey Lollipoppers, Emma here back with a 12×12 layout for you using the adorable ‘Sending Hugs & Kisses’ January kit. I took my inspiration from all the cute envelopes in the kit & created my own using the patterned papers & its from these envelops my layout emerged.

My central envelope holds my photo & title, then either side of that I made good use of all the ephemera having it all spilling out of my envelopes revealing their contents. Also nestled behind my trio of envelopes I placed the tag & doily, I love the depth that layering brings to a layout.

I didn’t like all the white space in the background so I decided to use the super cute ‘Take Note’ stamp & do some repeat stamping. My original thought was to stamp directly onto the background but I decided to stamp, fussy cut & then machine stitch through each stamped image again to add more texture to my page.

To finish I added a sprinkling of jewels & added my journalling underneath my title. Envelopes are a great addition to any creative layout, it gives you an instant place to add your all bits & pieces, why not give it a try.
