Christmas Gifts by Terri Smith

I know I did a post last year about using the Lollipop Box Club kits to create quick decorative giftware at Christmas. The cohesive way Lisa’s kits are curated means all aspects work well together and can help with speedy creating when time around the festive period can be limited.

I often purchase gift certificates or experiences so the first thing I created were two envelopes using the brown patterned paper. I simply folded each A5 piece so that there is a a flap to create a closure.

I added a strip of patterned paper to the closure flap to be able to tuck it under the ‘seal’. To create the this I layered the seal sticker on to patterned paper and trimmed down. Then added the snowflake sticker on top of the centre of the seal. Finished off by adding a stamped sentiment from my stash.

The fronts of the envelopes were then decorated with a cluster of embellishments. I used strips of washi tape, cut apart journal strips, die cut elements and stickers. Finishing with a splatter of gold acrylic ink.

I used the kraft paper wrapped round toilet roll tubes to create a couple of crackers to house small gifts. Create a cylinder around the toilet roll tube and then tie with the thin ribbon from the kit.

Each cracker was decorated with strips of patterened paper from the kit round the centre. I fussy cut stars and hearts from the patterned paper to use along with stickers as the main focus of the decoration.

I finished them both off with a few pearls from my stash and a Christmas sentiment. I also created a couple of small tags using the kraft tags and fussy cut hearts.

Thank you for joining me on the blog today, hope I managed to give you some inspiration for your Christmas gifts. I would to see anything you create so please share it over on the Lollipop Box Chat Facebook group.

Happy Crafting!
