Hello all!
Autumn has flown by it seems and now its hurtling towards Christmas!
I used the rest of my cosy season kit to document our day at the pumpkin patch. I limited myself to the supplies I used on these spreads – I raided my scraps box and used up a lot of autumnal-coloured paper and bits and pieces. You get satisfaction when you use up a large chunk of scraps and limit yourself to using only what you’ve picked out. I find pages come together so much quicker because you’re not searching for ‘the perfect piece’ – you’re using what you have!
The colours of this month’s kit gave me inspiration to rummage in my box of goodies and scraps to find pieces that went with both the kit and my photos, and I loved the challenge of trying to match the pages to ensure that the contents flowed throughout the several pages. I couldn’t choose from our photos so I included a few extra pages and a flip!
The brown leaflet was one I picked up in the farm shop, I thought it would be a great piece to tape in as a flip to hide more journalling and photos.
Some eagle eyed blog readers may spot a journalling card I made a few posts back with a previous kit. I thought it fit perfectly with the cosy vibe and colours of this page.
I hope this has given you some inspiration to document your autumnal adventures – I love the colours of this kit, and they inspired me to rummage in my scraps to find bits and pieces to use!
