The ‘Treehouse Adventures’ kit was just perfect for documenting these super cute pictures of my nephew. I’ve had a bit of a scrapbooking break as I’ve been a bit poorly, but this kit is so lovely – it’s made restarting so easy!
Using a 12×12 piece of white cardstock as my base, I used 3 stencils and 3 different colours of ink to create my background. After putting the colour down, I used black and white ink to add in the splats. And added the word ‘Adventure’ using the stencil from the kit in black ink to really make it pop!
The rest of the layout actually came together really easily. Backing the photo’s using the papers and some of the delicious tissue paper made a feature of the photo cluster – Lisa really does find the most interesting things to put into the kits!
I found some blue pom-pom trim from a previous kit to decorate one of the pictures and then spread embellishments around the photo cluster.
All the elements work so well together and the colours really are perfect for an adventure in the park picture. My nephew is also the cutest – so it’s very hard to go wrong!
I finished off the page by adding some of the cut apart words and stickers to the layout. I’m super pleased with how this has turned out – it really was a lot of fun to create!
I’m back again next week with a journal page for you all.
Take care and stay safe Lollipops xo
