Time for an Adventure by Guest Designer Jackie Ashton
.
.
I was so happy that Jackie said ‘yes’ to guest designing for us thing month. Jackie is such a fun scrapbooker.
Here is the first page that Jackie’s made using the November kit here.
.
I started by added some stenciled details to my cardstock, and added a few light scribbled background stamps around the page.
.
.
Then I choose 2 of the patterned papers, which I cut down into a 2 inch strip, and distressed one edge and added some ink around edges, to help define the edges.

.
I love added hidden journalling and where possible add to a envelope or bag. I draw around a tag onto some patterned paper and cut out. Then using one of the glassine bags that came with the kit, I cut it down to fit my tag and just glued down the cut edge.
.
I added my torn strips down the left hand side.
.
.
I added some 3D foam to the back of my photograph, and then positioned the glassine bag behind the photograph before adhering them both to my layout. Then I added the ‘Time for an Adventure’ card to the right hand side of the photograph, which I trimmed down to better fit my layout.
.
.
I love the added texture of the wooden banner, so I stamped a simple phase and added it to the bottom of my photograph.
To finish the layout I added stickers, die cuts, sequins.
