Let’s Relax – 12×12 Scrapbooking with Lisa – plus video

Hi!!  I have a 12×12 to share with you today. It’s funny to think that this is all I used to create years back and now I just make a couple a month. I used to create loads. I still love them, the albums just take up alot of space.

So using this month’s ‘Take Me Away’ kit, I wanted to document one of my favourite places in Disneyworld. This place just makes me feel so relaxed. It’s fun finding quieter places to escape to in such a busy place.

I used Laura’s sketch to get me started. Sketches are such a fun way to get inspiration.

I did create this page in a video which you can see here.

I didn’t stick completely to the sketch which you can see, but that’s what I like about sketches, it’s just a starting point.

I used some watercolours first and then I cut one of the kit papers up to use for journaling strips which was fun. I also used the kit stickers to decorate.

.

I love the bunting patterned papers this month. They are so fun to cut up  I’ve added them to my page here and doodled around the outsides. There’s also a sheet with words in with the papers this month. I cut out the word ‘FUN’ to add.

I’m so happy with how this page came together.
