Photo Gift Frames
I’ve made a couple of these photo frames for the Mums this year, I thought it was nice to create a frame that tells a story of a fun adventure.
I’ve bought a wooden frame and just printed off a map to go inside. (Using google to search for an appropriate map) I also printed off some small photos.
I printed off some wording on my pc and cut into strips.
I removed the back off the frame and took out the glass (becareful not to cut yourself. the sides can be sharp!)
I used the glass as a template to draw around the map and then I cut it to size.
I added some double sided sticky tape to the back of the map and stuck it to the glass, along with a clear acrylic block.
This then went back in to the frame with the map showing on the outside.
Using 3d foam tape I’ve stuck the photos in place and attached a couple of the white pegs from the December Kit.
The wording gets cut up in to thin strips and stuck on to the design with pva glue.
And I added a few hearts from the sticker sheet in the kit too, just to finish.
I’m so happy with this gift. It certainly beats just framing a photo that’s for sure.
People really do appreciate a gift where they can see some time and thought has gone in.
Happy gift making!!
