Late last year , Poppy was chosen to be a dog model after a call out on IG.  A local photographer was looking for model dogs that he can added to his portfolio.  I put Poppy forward not knowing that she will be chosen.

I had printed some of the photos that we have chosen to document this day on my journal.

The February kit- Fancy that was perfect for this story.

After choosing the page , I have cut one of the papers to size to fit the page I will be working on.

I wanted to do some layering on this page , so I have chosen the paper that looks 2 pieces of paper has been layered.

Layering is not my strong point but I wanted to practice.   I honestly struggled to put the layers together.

The  photographs and the kit has inspired me  to carry on with this pages.

I cut one of the photographs into strips and backed them up with one of the kit paper, and placed them  in the pocket.

The backs of the strips were  good journaling spots, but I decided to leave them blank this time.

I then created a flip out page to showcase the monochrome photo of Poppy and added lace for interest, and used the back for journaling.

The flip out page hid the pocket so it is a lovely surprise when you open it.

I also created a tag to journal on and this will be placed in the pocket along with the photographs.

This page turned out better than I expected ! It is always pays off to persevere and trust the process.

Have you ever doubted your pages like me ?  I would love to know how you managed to regain your creativity.

Lots of crafty hugs , Sheryll
