Autumn Journal – Keeping It Simple

Today I am showing you how I used the “Stories not stuff” kit to come up with a simple way of documenting memories when you haven’t got much time to create.

My life has been super hectic lately to say the least. I have started a new job at the beginning of September which has added extra time to my already busy days. It has been a real struggle to find time to create but I am still trying my hardest to document the most important things.

This gorgeous kit comes with a super cute small kraft journal which is perfect for a quick crafty fix.

I decided to make it my autumn journal and keep it super simple.

I decorated my cover using the adorable pumpkin paper from the kit. I added some watercolour rub-ons from my stash. The cute kraft labels were perfect for adding my title using tiny puffy letters.

For my first page I wanted to document my daughter’s first day back at school. She gets to walk in with her best friend every single morning now and is loving it.

I kept it super simple – photo, title and some stickers. It still counts, right?
