Scrapbook Layout “Happy Birthday”
Hello lollipop friends,
I have recently started creating 12×12 layouts again. They’re the perfect projects for when life is busy and you still want to feel accomplished, satisfied and relaxed.
Today I am showing you a layout I created after my little one’s 7th birthday (I can’t believe she is 7!). I used the “In the Library” kit for this.
First I printed a large number 7 and cut it out. I cut the inner section out aswell because I had planned to back it with the papers from the kit. I ended up using the gorgeous paper with all the lovely strips.
I matted it onto a textured silver card for a something a little extra. I matted my photos onto the same card.
I created the background using some Distress paint and Dina Wakley paint. Using an old gift card I simply swiped the paint from side to side. Easy peasy, anyone can do it, I promise!
I die cut a birthday sentiment and used some die cuts for extra embellishing.
I also cut apart a card and used the lines for my journaling.
I honestly fell in love with creating 12×12 layouts again!
I hope this inspired you to document a special occasion on a larger scale.
Until next time…
Nadine xx
