5 minute cards turns into journaling spot.
For today’s project I decided to try out the Cricut Joy card mat and make some quick cards that took less than 5 minutes each to make but was super fun.
For my first design I have chosen is a happy mail card with the envelope design.
I have used the stripe paper behind the cutouts and I love how it looks. The Cricut not only cuts the design but it also draws too.
The second card was inspired by the lollipop box club logo, with the clouds and rainbow.
I went for a simple backing with the Orange and white paper but this card would also look awesome with rainbow colours.
The 3rd card inspired by my love of coffee, Thanks a latte. I love his cute smiley face, I have chosen the green watercolour effect paper for the backing instead of a pattern paper.
The more I look at the cards the more I wanted to add them into my journal. So I took another piece of the stripey paper and used it as a background on the right side and stuck down the envelope card creating a hidden photo and journaling spot.
I used the left side for my photos which I have framed with the die cuts from the kit, decorated around them using some more of the die cuts and word stickers.
I love it, started of as 5 minute cards and finished as a journaling spot for me to document my memories from my happy place.
