6 by 8 Layout by Korrieann
I’ve not been feeling very creative these last couple of weeks and every time I sat down to make a start I just wasn’t sure what I wanted to create, which photo I wanted to scrap. Did I want to use notebook or a scrapbook page, so I decided I would just step away again and come back later . I spent the week watching YouTube, catching up on some crafty vlogs, decided to make some flowers, then a card, then I thought I’d go back to basics.
I cut some white card stock down to 6 by 8 as the base of my layout and picked out some of the papers from the say cheese kit.
I cut a smaller piece from the smile paper, a strip of the camera paper and from the stripy paper I took a slice of the green and white stripe to create with.
I took some gold card stock from my stash as it matched the tag that also came in the kit and created a frame using my punch board.
I stuck down the papers and layered all my elements on my layout, also adding in the stitched envelope, some of the diecuts and the smile acrylic piece glueing them all into place. I then finished it off with a few splatters of green ink.
For the little cameras I have fussy cut a couple of them from the camera paper so that they matched the strip from underneath my cluster.
So from a week of not feeling creative I now have a couple of projects done and I love how it has all come together and all it needs now is for me to add my photograph to the frame. There’s no hurry for me to pick a photo, I can just add that it my own time or when the right one jumps out at me.
