Autumnal Heart Wreath – by Lorraine

Hello there, I am here today sharing a cute, yet simple to create, 12 x12 layout featuring an Autumnal heart wreath. The addition of fussy cut leaves, dinky pumpkins, journalling strips and watercolours makes for a quirky and tactile design yet uses minimal supplies. The majority of this layout was made using the Snuggle Season kit, if you are quick you can grab one here

If you fancy re creating my design on a journal page, in a mini book or as a scrapbook layout it really is quite simple. Sketch a heart shape with a pencil, add watercolour paint on to the line and around each side of this. I used a babywipe to dab the colour on which made a soft and less structured look. I fussy cut the leaves from on of the patterned papers and gently shaped these and folded some at the centre before adhering them following the pencil line. Mixing the Lollipop Box Kits is made simple too, just look how fabulous these fussy pumpkins work from September’s kit ‘Our Sweet Home’.

I love to add journalling to my layouts but often have these details hidden, the cute orange envelope in this months kit was perfect for the job and tucked well under my photos. A cute finishing touch was made with one of the Dotty About Flair embellishments, the sticker titles and dinky marshmallow on a stick.
